Frank Womersley
Frank Womersley was born in 1875, the son of Stephen & Emma Womersley. The 1871 census lists the family living in Clarence Street; Stephen was employed as a Brass Turner (later to become a Bank Messenger) and Emma a Dress Maker. By 1891 the family were living at 38 Sharrow Street, Frank, aged 16, was working as a Clerk at a steel manufacturer.
