Lickorish was a retail jeweller based at Birmingham. The founder was John Frederick Lickorish (1873-1944), who was born at Birmingham, the son of John (a wire worker, who died in 1879) and his wife, Emily Mary née Kirk (who worked as a stationer to raise her family).
