Hubert Clifford Peckett (1892-1969) was the son of Thomas Edward Peckett (1858-1935) and his wife, Clara nee Lee. Thomas Edward was a cutlery manufacturer at Corn Hill Works, 218 Solly Street, whose father was Thomas Peckett, a razor smith for Joseph Rodgers & Sons. In 1888, Thomas Edward advertised the opening of a ‘special showroom’ at Blackpool at 32 Tyldesley Road (back of Foxhall Hotel).
