Walter Walker & Company
Walter Walker (1847-1930) was born in Sheffield, the son of Samuel Walker, a tailor, and his wife, Harriet. By the 1870s, Walter was a silver piercer and stamper at 108 Rockingham Street. His catalogue from Western Works in Rockingham Street (a copy of which was provided to the author, courtesy of Herbert Housley) shows that Walker supplied a wide range of cake baskets, sugar dishes, trays, and cruets.
