C. W. Littlewood
Charles William Littlewood (1904-1978) was a scissors manufacturer. He was the son of Morton Littlewood, a scissors grinder, and his wife, Lilly. Charles followed his father’s trade and by 1939 was working as a surgical scissors grinder. After the War, he set up as a maker of ‘quality’ steel scissors based at Union Grinding Wheel, Alma Street, Kelham Island.
