Joseph Price
Joseph Price (1817-1886) was born in Walsall, Staffordshire. By 1850, he had married and was working in Sheffield as a spoon and fork maker. He lived in Garden Street, but by 1859 he had moved to the Wicker and was listed in a directory as manufacturer of German silver spoons, forks, and blades – besides running a boarding house. In 1868, Price advertised in the Sheffield directory. He manufactured nickel-silver fish carver blades and forks and also undertook ‘fancy jobbing work&rsqu....
