Henry Bolsover was listed in 1876 as a manufacturer and factor of table, butchers’, palette, and putty knives in Court No. 5, Upper St Philip’s Road. Henceforth, the address was Portland Works, West Street. By 1893, the enterprise was ‘& Co’ and specialised in table knives. Identifying the owner has proved difficult.
